Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business hospitality or related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years experience as general manager managing director or similar leadership role in luxury full service hotel
  • Proven leadership in managing multiple operational departments including food and beverage outlets
  • Strong financial management skills with budgeting and data analysis
  • Ability to foster a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Capacity to perform physical tasks such as standing walking lifting up to 25 pounds bending reaching stooping kneeling crouching

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business hospitality or related field is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience as general manager managing director or similar leadership role in luxury full service hotel
  • Experience leading luxury hotel with multiple food and beverage outlets
  • Proven success supervising multiple operational departments and their P&Ls in rooms food and beverage and luxury operations
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Ability to analyze data develop budgets and manage financial performance

Job Duties

  • Lead inspire and mentor a diverse team of department heads cultivating a culture of collaboration innovation and accountability
  • Set clear expectations and provide guidance necessary to achieve exceptional performance
  • Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by overseeing implementation of service standards personalized experiences and swift resolution of issues
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance guest interactions and exceed expectations
  • Manage daily and ongoing oversight of food and beverage and hotel services catering to VIPs and high-net-worth guests
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue optimize expenses and achieve budgetary goals
  • Maintain seamless and efficient operation by overseeing all aspects of hotel management including front office housekeeping restaurants bars maintenance and events
  • Implement best practices to uphold quality and safety standards
  • Provide service excellence to achieve Forbes Travel Guide rating
  • Supervise consortia groups handle luxury brand partnerships and cultivate luxury-focused sales environment
  • Guide teams through renovations updates and modernizations leveraging expertise in interior design and construction
  • Establish strong community relationships participate in Chamber of Commerce and local associations and act as brand ambassador
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with company objectives and drive growth
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development empowering team to excel and advance within organization
