Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, planning, aviation, business, operations research, or related fields
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in airfield and airspace planning and simulation
- Extensive experience with TAAM software
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in analytical tools like Excel and Tableau
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, or programming languages preferred
- Ability to work remotely or in office
- Willingness to travel up to 20% annually
- Commitment to client engagement and teamwork
Job Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in airfield/airspace planning and simulation, with extensive experience using TAAM software (AirTop experience is a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills using tools such as Excel, Tableau, etc.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or GIS preferred
- Knowledge of programming (Python, R, etc.) preferred
- Knowledge and interest in the aviation industry and airport operations
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, planning, aviation, business, operations research, or related fields is an asset
Job Duties
- Lead and conduct planning studies and analyze airport facilities and operations
- Simulate airfield and airspace operations including runways, taxiways, and gates using TAAM software
- Analyze simulation modeling input and output data sets
- Analyze flight schedules, study airport fleet mixes, and optimize aircraft gate management systems
- Participate in data collection and survey assignments
- Coordinate and write task analysis results and reports
- Assist in preparing project work scopes and schedules
- Engage client staff, attend client meetings/presentations, and establish positive relationships
- Train junior staff in simulation modeling tools and techniques
