Job Requirements

  • Maintains ServSafe Food Manager certification
  • Has a valid driver’s license and can operate a personal or company vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Able to work Monday through Friday
  • Capable of managing kitchen staff and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong commitment to food safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Has 1-3 years of kitchen leadership experience
  • Enjoys exercising creativity in menu development
  • Understands diverse cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
  • Is a natural leader in practice and attitude
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Thinks quickly and critically under pressure
  • Is willing to learn and adopt business needs and practices
  • Is comfortable managing, organizing, and communicating using technology
  • Is experienced with Google applications (Gmail, Google Drive), Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Design, prepare and coordinate unique weekly menus for all dietary needs and restrictions
  • Spearhead execution of new product lines and culinary practices
  • Participate in critical discussions regarding eater satisfaction and business growth
  • Act as liaison between business team and culinary team regarding client details and feedback
  • Hire kitchen staff with support from culinary leadership
  • Manage, coach and train the kitchen staff with support from culinary leadership
  • Own supply ordering and inventory
  • oversee COGS
  • Monitor and manage portion control and food costs
  • Execute strict quality control and assurance
  • Ensure kitchen operations meet company and facility standards
  • Comply with and enforce sanitary regulations and safety standards
