Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within restaurant or related verticals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Proficiency in relevant sales and CRM software
  • Commitment to Mastercard's security policies and standards

Job Qualifications

  • Strong commercial drive with ability to build and monetize senior client relationships
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota
  • Ability to own and drive end to end sales from initial prospecting through signed contract
  • Collaborative attitude with ability to win as a team
  • Preferred consulting, software platform, and/or data driven solution selling background
  • Existing contacts in the Restaurant vertical
  • Strong networker with ability to listen, build common ground, and influence
  • Top-level sales skills and strong negotiation capabilities for large deals

Job Duties

  • Responsible for business development and ongoing account ownership within the Restaurants vertical with direct revenue, account ownership and sales responsibilities
  • Serve as the face of Mastercard Services to senior level client stakeholders including c-suite
  • Drive coordination within Demand Generation, Marketing, Solutions, and Product teams focused on the restaurant client vertical in the US
  • Set the commercial agenda for assigned territory
  • Partner with segment leads of Mastercard US Market Development to support strategic imperatives and revenue objectives
  • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to optimize go to market efforts and ensure best-in-class value delivery
