Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of eight years of event and project management experience
  • Proven track record managing large scale, complex events
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and manage vendor relationships
  • Strong communication skills including written and verbal
  • Proficiency with collaboration and event management tools
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting
  • Availability to work outside traditional business hours including weekends
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable in ambiguous and complex work situations

Job Qualifications

  • Eight plus years of successful event and project management experience in large, complex events
  • Experience preferably in B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environments
  • Strong leadership skills managing diverse teams and vendors
  • Proven effectiveness in vendor negotiations and selection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Slack and Quip
  • Experience working within global companies and cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in project management and process improvements
  • Ability to analyze event program data and reporting
  • Proactive, creative, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Comfortable working outside traditional business hours
  • Proficient in Google Suite Workspace
  • Experienced with event technology and IT/AV remote communication tools such as Zoom and Google Meet

Job Duties

  • Oversee all events activity across the Atlanta Tower with a focus on specialty spaces such as the Ohana Floor and Multi-Purpose Zone
  • Curate meaningful connections through companywide events engaging customers, guests, visitors, and employees
  • Deliver exceptional five-star event experiences to executives and high-level stakeholders
  • Manage and support all event vendors, employees, and contractors comprising the event team
  • Utilize Tableau to build dashboards and report on pre-event and post-event data analytics
  • Lead continuous training and development for the events team on new meeting and event technologies
  • Collaborate closely with Real Estate and Workplace Services teams and other business units to ensure alignment and overcome obstacles
