Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management
- expertise in SAP and WMS
- strong leadership and supervisory skills
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- knowledge of GMP, food safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- problem-solving skills
- experience managing budgets and financial reports
Job Qualifications
- 5 plus years in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably within food manufacturing
- expert knowledge of SAP and warehouse management system modules
- excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel
- leadership experience with supervisory or management responsibilities
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint
- detail-oriented and capable of working in fast-paced environments
Job Duties
- Provide direction and support for all warehouse, traffic, and inventory coordinator teams
- team training and development
- enforce company policies related to food safety, quality, regulatory compliance, disciplinary actions, and GMPs
- coordinate all warehousing activities with traffic, production, and QA
- inspect incoming materials for conformity and defects
- oversee replenishment, handling, and storage of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- manage warehouse employee tasks to meet transport schedules
- monitor and record material movement transactions in SAP
- optimize floor space utilization
- maintain warehouse cleanliness and BRC standards
- validate outbound shipments for quality and accuracy
- ensure on-time delivery of materials to production lines
- manage shuttle schedules
- communicate with customer service, planning, and production
- oversee fleet management
- supervise inventory accuracy and cycle counts
- investigate and balance material usage variances with finance
- optimize inventory counting processes
- manage inventory levels and safety stocks
- report and explain inventory variances
- participate in compliance audits
- understand local financial reports
- collaborate on labor and expense budgets
- explain budget variances
- adhere to budget limitations
- lead and participate in site projects
- develop and track key performance indicators
- report weekly on delivery performance
- ensure compliance with GMP and all food safety and defense requirements
- take responsibility for local logistics procedures and processes
