Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 85 percent
  • Ability to relocate upon securing Assistant Manager role
  • Valid CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to walk or stand for entire shift
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 32 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Fine motor coordination and depth perception
  • Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience of approximately 3 years
  • Valid CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain during the program
  • Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to walk, stand, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 32 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
  • Fine motor skills, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment at a distance
  • Familiarity with SOPs, GDP, GMP, CLIA, and FDA regulations preferred
  • Experience in regulated or high-compliance environments preferred

Job Duties

  • Participate in a 12-month leadership development program with mentorship and guidance
  • Gain hands-on experience in operations including financial, regulatory, administrative, marketing, quality and facilities management
  • Contribute to donor floor operations ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance
  • Develop leadership skills including team member selection, performance feedback, and fostering an inclusive environment
  • Maintain BioLife’s quality and safety standards to meet production and cost goals
  • Travel to various BioLife locations to network and learn operational best practices
  • Relocate to a BioLife center upon promotion to Assistant Manager
