Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in management, transportation/logistics, business administration, or related field
  • Willingness to travel and relocate
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Commitment to follow DOT regulations
  • Ability to perform physical inspections and manage equipment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 1 year relevant experience
  • Ability to work multiple shifts including nights and weekends
  • Willingness to travel and regionally relocate
  • Experience managing a team preferred
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
  • Strong decision-making and adaptability
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Learn to build and maintain positive professional relationships with drivers and outside carriers
  • Fill in for absent personnel and support special projects
  • Utilize personnel management including training and orientation of drivers and employees
  • Maximize efficiency of fleet operations and recommend improvements
  • Manage inventory, assets, and driver assignments
  • Perform administrative duties such as payroll, driver counseling, and report analysis
  • Manage yard operations and coordinate equipment maintenance
  • Resolve service issues and coordinate with drivers and customers
  • Maintain company safety culture and enforce DOT compliance
  • Assign loads, plan routes, and monitor freight movement
