Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with relevant experience
  • 7 years experience in supply chain, logistics, project, business management or operations
  • 4 years experience leading teams, processes or projects
  • Supply chain experience with traffic, shipping or warehousing
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required with ability to obtain and maintain special program access
  • Eligibility to work onsite in El Segundo or Palmdale
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7 years experience in supply chain management, logistics management, project management, business management or operations
  • Master's Degree with 5 years relevant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 10 years relevant experience
  • 4 years experience leading teams, processes or projects
  • Experience in supply chain with traffic, shipping or warehousing
  • Knowledge of international trade compliance preferred
  • Licensed customer broker preferred
  • Ability to prepare and present executive-level presentations preferred
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed or virtual teams preferred
  • Proven problem-solver and change-agent with technical and business expertise preferred

Job Duties

  • Accountable for domestic and international traffic operations across the sector, acting as the escalation path to address issues in program execution related to Goods Movement & Logistics (GM&L) Traffic operations, ensuring mitigation plans are developed and executed
  • Lead managers and individual contributors responsible for supporting all sites, programs and product line goals through accurate tracking, reporting and problem-resolution related to traffic
  • Support Enterprise/Corporate GSC Transportation and Logistics Community of Practice and Center of Excellence initiatives, leading initiatives and strategies to drive improved efficiency and cost reductions
  • Develop and drive strategy for logistics traffic operations aligned with organizational goals, ensuring optimized supply chain processes
  • Collaborate with Goods Movement, International Trade Compliance, Logistics Service Providers and other functions to ensure alignment and resource prioritization
  • Serve as key liaison with internal customers and executive leadership to communicate strategic plans and operational performance
  • Lead collaboration with local, state, federal and international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Cultivate a high-performing, engaged culture by modeling respect, ownership, accountability and promoting open communication
  • Provide mentorship, coaching and succession planning to ensure leadership readiness and alignment with company leadership values
