Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a certified food handler certificate
  • 1-2 years leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail environment
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must maintain DHS Food Handler certification
  • Must have experience in retail
  • Must have experience in food and beverage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be self-reliant and self-motivated
  • Must be able to work in an industrial or warehouse environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong technical background with projectors and show systems
  • 1-2 years experience in a leadership role with the public or equivalent leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail
  • Certified food handler certificate
  • Experience in retail environment
  • Experience in food and beverage environment
  • Experience in training and development of personnel
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of communication devices
  • Experience with vendor management preferred
  • Experience in asset management preferred
  • Experience in exhibit creation and maintenance preferred
  • Background as museum curator or archivist is a plus
  • Experience with invoice systems is a plus

Job Duties

  • Leads a team of in-house and third-party technicians
  • Analyzes repair and maintenance records to identify failure trends and communicates findings to maintenance vendors and manufacturers
  • Ensures smooth department operations including hiring, training, staffing, safety, security, uniforms, and cash handling
  • Handles guest inquiries and resolves complaints to ensure a positive experience
  • Keeps employees informed of company news, studio activities, and role-relevant changes
  • Shares business opportunities with supervisors including new products, events, and operational improvements
  • Assists in employee development, performance management, disciplinary actions, and coaching
  • Supports forecasting and management of labor and cost of goods budgets
  • Manages ticket sales and online ticket inventory
  • Ensures compliance with Department of Health Services inspections and other audits
  • Works closely with Merchandising Manager on loss prevention, inventory accuracy, and maintaining merchandising standards
