Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified food handler certificate
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant, or retail environments
  • Strong technical knowledge of projectors and show systems
  • Experience in retail and food and beverage environments
  • Available to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to manage cash handling and departmental safety
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines and goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in industrial or warehouse environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong technical background with projectors and show systems
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant, retail, or equivalent
  • Certified food handler certificate
  • Experience in retail and food and beverage environments
  • Experience in asset management preferred
  • Experience in exhibit creation and maintenance preferred
  • Background as museum curator or archivist a plus
  • Experience in training and developing personnel
  • Experience in vendor management preferred
  • Experience with invoice systems a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members, executives, guests, and vendors
  • Self-reliant and self-motivated
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in an industrial or warehouse environment

Job Duties

  • Lead a team of in-house and 3rd party technicians
  • Analyze repair and maintenance records to identify failure trends and communicate findings with vendors
  • Ensure smooth daily department operations including hiring, training, staffing, safety, security, uniforms, and cash handling
  • Handle guest inquiries, address complaints, and ensure positive visitor experience
  • Communicate company news and studio updates to employees and support tour management
  • Share business opportunities and operational improvements with supervisors
  • Assist in employee development, performance management, and disciplinary actions
  • Manage labor and cost of goods budgets, ticket sales, and online ticket inventory
  • Achieve ratings for Department of Health Services inspections and other audits in cafes
