Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-9 years experience required
  • 9 years experience in lieu of degree
  • Previous field technical experience
  • Equipment repair and maintenance experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Problem-solving abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-9 years' experience in relevant technical service or equipment repair
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of computer networking, wired and wireless communication
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient change management skills

Job Duties

  • Provide technical support on product brand equipment for service techs, service agencies, sales, engineering, and customers via phone, email, or at customer locations
  • Work closely with management, customer service, sales, and engineering to resolve escalated technical support issues
  • Develop training materials for call center and field technicians on installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment
  • Resolve customer escalation issues
  • Maintain accuracy of computerized service records and files
  • Provide technical assistance and service support for inquiries from various stakeholders
  • Take opportunities to educate oneself on product lines, service issues, and tools used
