Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, facility/hospitality/sport management or similar
- 2 - 4 years of related experience with a working knowledge of local and/or regional markets, event or venue operations, sales or marketing in the event industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding computer skills including MS Office products
- Must be able to work holidays, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to learn all video board and sound related equipment and basic functions

Job Duties
- Act as the primary on-site contact for all non-baseball events at Dickey-Stephens Park
- Work with all events from beginning to end including walkthroughs, rate and contract negotiations, pre-event planning, food and beverage planning, staffing, load-in/out, event execution, and post-event settlement
- Lead internal and external meetings including walkthroughs, tours, menu reviews, department meetings, and staff meetings
- Organize and schedule internal staffing and coordinate with third-party vendors for event setup, teardown, and execution
- Cultivate strong working relationships with all team departments including operations, grounds, food and beverage, marketing, and sales
- Solicit new business by making sales calls, presentations, attending trade shows, and client prospecting to exceed revenue targets
- Work with other departments to create and market new business opportunities and develop special event profit generating opportunities
