USA Volleyball (USAV) is the national governing body for beach, indoor, sitting, snow, and para-beach volleyball in the United States. With over 400,000 members, USAV is responsible for selecting the Olympic and Paralympic volleyball teams. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sport Administration or related field
  • Minimum five years of related sport management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively
  • Successful passing of USAV background check prior to hire
  • Completion of SafeSport training within two weeks of hire and ongoing compliance
  • Ability to travel domestically on a moderate basis
  • Availability for extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion principles
  • Location in Edmond, Oklahoma or willingness to relocate

Job Qualifications

  • Five plus years of related experience in sport management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sport Administration, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated experience with budget management
  • Successful completion of USAV background screen prior to hire
  • Completion and maintenance of SafeSport training
  • Master’s Degree in Business or Sport Administration preferred
  • Experience working with sitting volleyball programs preferred
  • Experience supporting disabled sport programs preferred
  • Experience with USOC, NGB, or other sport organizations a plus

Job Duties

  • Determine yearly and camp specific schedules for Sitting National Team Development Program, Men’s and Women’s Sitting National Teams
  • Manage collection and dissemination of necessary membership, SafeSport, and organizational forms
  • Maintain oversight of assigned budgets including catering and housing
  • Provide updates to Marketing, Communications and Creative department for athlete profiles and match statistics
  • Oversee daily operations of leased apartments including cleaning services
  • Collaborate with chef and coaches to schedule mealtimes aligned with training
  • Coordinate housing maintenance with university and other organizations
  • Process Direct Athlete Support financial collections and software input
  • Develop marketing strategies in consultation with Marketing and Communications
  • Recruit new athletes with physical disabilities for sitting volleyball development
  • Support national team camps and domestic competition events with logistics, facilities, and officials coordination
  • Serve as primary contact for external organizations hosting sitting volleyball events
  • Oversee distribution and storage of equipment and supplies
  • Perform other assigned duties and projects
