Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Hotel Management preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hospitality sales experience
- Experience with properties of equivalent size and quality, preferably four-star/four-diamond or five-star/five-diamond
- Ability to move around facility and stand for long hours during events
- Ability to operate office equipment and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to communicate verbally and respond to visual and oral cues
- Ability to work both inside and outside of building as needed
- Ability to travel as necessary

Job Duties
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
- Quick and timely responses to all calls, emails, and leads
- Solicit and secure business through a proactive, focused sales approach
- Develop strong, professional long-term business relationships
- Attend networking events and become a member of civic organizations or industry associations
- Maintain accurate information and revenues in appropriate databases for forecasting
- Work closely with the Catering Department on operations and event execution
- Be on-site to greet groups upon arrival and ensure smooth event operation
- Follow up with clients after functions to ensure satisfaction
- Assist other sales and catering managers with site inspections
- Participate in property-specific customer functions
- Provide sales support during shows and help drive sales initiatives
- Wear professional attire and represent the property with high standards
- Maintain a positive, cooperative work environment
- Perform duties set forth by supervisors or General Manager
