Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing people
  • FAA commercial pilot certificate
  • Instrument airplane rating
  • Minimum 1000 hours pilot in command (PIC) flight time
  • 200 hours as a flight instructor, check airman or simulator instructor
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work extended hours
  • Current, valid U.S or foreign passport with the ability to travel freely
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business purposes
  • Proficiency in reading and speaking English
  • High school diploma or GED

Job Qualifications

  • FAA commercial pilot certificate
  • Instrument airplane rating

  • Airplane, Powered-Lift, and Rotorcraft pilot certificate (desired)
  • Bachelor’s degree (desired)

Job Duties

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the S4 pilot training courseware
  • Contribute to the development of a standardized training course for S4 instructor pilots
  • Lead and manage a growing team of instructor pilots
  • Deliver standardized modules including before flight planning and briefing, and after flight debriefs
  • Analyze the performance of trainees and write reports on the findings
  • Make recommendations regarding whether under-performing trainees should continue training
  • Contribute to internal flight safety and standardization discussions
  • Complete all required documentation in accordance with established Company and FAA procedures
  • Observe all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company
  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned
