Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in business administration, finance and accounting, economics, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
  • 3 years experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • Or 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business administration, finance and accounting, economics, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
  • 1 year experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with reservation and inventory management systems
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Commitment to promoting brand equity and revenue goals

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business administration, finance and accounting, economics, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
  • 3 years experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area with 2-year degree
  • 1 year experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area with 4-year degree
  • Proficient in using reservation and demand forecasting systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
  • Knowledge of hotel sales strategies and revenue management principles
  • Experience with data analysis and financial forecasting
  • Understanding of property diagnostic processes and revenue tests

Job Duties

  • Manages room authorizations, rates and restrictions
  • Manages function space authorizations, restrictions and rental
  • Manages rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue
  • Maintains the transient rooms inventory for the hotels and maximizes transient revenue
  • Releases group rooms back into general inventory ensuring clean booking windows for customers
  • Ensures hotel sales strategies are effectively implemented in the reservation and inventory systems
  • Prepares sales strategy critiques
  • Monitors transient and group inventory daily to maximize revenue potential
  • Communicates and modifies sales strategies and rate restrictions based on market conditions
  • Supports cluster selling initiatives with all reservation centers
  • Uses reservation and demand forecasting systems to control selling strategies
  • Ensures property diagnostic processes are used to maximize revenue and profits
  • Initiates, implements and evaluates revenue tests
  • Ensures compliance with company promotions and eCommerce channels
  • Ensures hotels follow brand strategies to maintain or increase revenue per available room and square foot
  • Understands relationships between sales, reservations and property management systems
  • Participates in quarterly regional reviews
  • Promotes and protects brand equity
  • Achieves and exceeds performance, budget, and team goals
  • Attends planning meetings to coordinate activities and solutions
  • Establishes long-range objectives and strategy
  • Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes
  • Meets needs of key stakeholders
  • Explores opportunities for profit, client value, and innovation
  • Compiles, analyzes and monitors actual sales against projections
  • Creates long range and weekly forecasts for rooms and catering
  • Conducts and refines sales strategy analysis
  • Maintains accurate reservation system information
  • Analyzes period end data to identify trends and obstacles
  • Generates transient segment updates
  • Assists with account diagnostics and validates conclusions
  • Provides revenue analysis expertise to management and sales leaders
  • Prepares forecasts of revenue, profit, demand and occupancy
  • Prepares revenue and profit opportunity analysis
  • Manages revenue, profit and demand data for rooms and function space
  • Develops and uses analytical tools to maximize revenue and profit
  • Breaks down data into components to identify principles and facts
  • Analyzes information to solve problems
  • Uses computer systems to program, enter data and process information
  • Generates accurate and timely reports and presentations
  • Develops and manages internal stakeholder relationships
  • Acts as liaison between property and corporate systems support when necessary
