Job Requirements

  • All applicants must be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in management administrative role focusing on employee relations and talent management
  • Minimum 3 years managing retail operations
  • Experience managing full scope of HR activities
  • Passion for handling all aspects of retail operations including staffing, compliance, inventory control, purchasing, theft prevention, and product diversion
  • Preferred experience in management and leadership within a high growth environment
  • Experience in operations management including production oversight
  • Excellent consulting and conflict management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Solid business acumen and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including coaching and training
  • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with senior level executives

  • 3 years of experience managing retail operations
  • Hands-on responsibility for full scope of human resources activities including operations and analysis
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills in a high growth environment preferred
  • Experience in operations management including production oversight and accountability
  • Strong consulting, conflict management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Solid business acumen, management reporting, and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Assist the District Manager with patient and caregiver consultations and administration of medical marijuana products
  • Oversee all dispensing facility operations including patient identification, registration, record retention, product tracking, and inventory control
  • Ensure compliance with all Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program rules and regulations and supervise dispensary staff training and education
  • Monitor all point of sale transactions and manage patient-specific logs, inventory receipt, storage, auditing, and ordering using BioTrackTHC software
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts
  • Develop privacy policies and procedures ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information
  • Liaise between dispensary staff, management, law enforcement, health officials, and community
  • Direct department managers to accomplish operational and safety goals
  • Establish quality assurance plans to detect, identify, and prevent dispensing errors related to packaging and labeling
  • Manage policies for retesting, storage, disposal, adverse event reporting, and product recall
  • Implement and maintain security systems for tracking, record-keeping, retention, and surveillance
  • Develop employee-focused culture emphasizing continuous improvement and teamwork
  • Implement HR policies and direct compliance efforts to minimize risk
  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee relation issues in coordination with Senior Counsel
  • Perform exit interviews, data analysis, and recommend corrective actions
  • Create and deliver organizational development and training programs
  • Conduct performance reviews and monitor employee productivity and attitudes
  • Collaborate with IT on HR software implementations
  • Manage talent acquisition, recruitment, and workforce planning
  • Develop quality assurance programs tied to performance reviews
  • Design compensation and benefits programs to motivate and reward performance
  • Maintain facilities that enhance employee productivity
  • Coordinate company-wide communication and change management
  • Ensure employee safety, wellness, health, and welfare.
