Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years of management experience in retail or healthcare operations
  • prior experience in medical cannabis or pharmaceutical retail preferred
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy laws
  • effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • proficiency in computer systems related to inventory and HR management

Job Qualifications

  • experience in retail operations management preferably in a regulated industry
  • knowledge of medical cannabis dispensing laws and regulations
  • familiarity with inventory tracking software such as BioTrackTHC
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements
  • experience in developing and implementing quality assurance programs
  • human resources experience including employee relations and compliance
  • ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders including law enforcement and health authorities
  • proficiency in managing budgets and inventory controls

Job Duties

  • assist the District Manager in patient and caregiver consultation and product administration
  • oversee dispensary operations including patient identification, registration, and record retention
  • supervise dispensary staff and provide training and education
  • monitor all point of sale transactions
  • manage patient-specific logs, inventory receipt, storage, auditing, and ordering using BioTrackTHC
  • resolve inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts
  • develop and enforce privacy policies and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • liaise with internal teams, law enforcement, health authorities, and community
  • direct department managers to meet safety and operational goals
  • develop and implement quality assurance and compliance plans
  • manage policies for retesting, storage, disposal, and recall of medical marijuana products
  • assist with security systems for tracking and surveillance
  • foster an employee-oriented culture emphasizing quality and teamwork
  • implement HR policies and conduct employee investigations
  • conduct exit interviews and analyze data for improvement
  • develop organizational development and training programs
  • conduct performance reviews and monitor productivity
  • recruit and retain staff and manage talent acquisition
  • build a quality assurance program tied to performance reviews
  • develop compensation and benefits programs
  • maintain facilities to enhance productivity
  • manage company-wide communication and change
