- four years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
- OR two-year degree from an accredited university in an applicable field
- two years of experience in food and beverage or related area

Job Qualifications

- OR two-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with two years of related experience

Job Duties
- Supervises and manages employees
- manages all day-to-day operations
- maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurants, bars, lounges, and room service areas
- reviews staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives
- leads, influences, and encourages the food and beverage team
- builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
- identifies developmental needs and coaches or mentors staff
- ensures compliance with food and beverage policies, standards, and procedures
- ensures compliance with laws and food handling standards
- monitors alcohol beverage service compliance
- provides exceptional customer service and handles guest problems and complaints
- meets with guests to gather feedback
- manages service delivery from entry to departure
- provides guidance and direction to subordinates including performance monitoring
- develops educational and training programs
- ensures fair treatment and retention of employees
- solicits employee feedback and addresses concerns
- oversees financial aspects including purchasing and invoice payment
- assists servers and hosts during peak times
- supervises shifts in the absence of the Assistant Restaurant Manager
