Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, recreation management, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or recreation industry
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation Management, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or recreation industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously as well as outside working conditions
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the Pool, Beach, and Bungalow areas
  • Coordinate and schedule team duties and activities
  • Communicate effectively with the team regarding needs and expectations
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to ensure high performance
  • Develop subordinate managers and supervisors
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor and adhere to budgetary goals
  • Resolve guest and team issues promptly and effectively
  • Interview and recruit new team members
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills during coaching and shift briefings
  • Execute duties and delegations assigned by the Director of Recreation
