Job Requirements

  • Five years of management experience in hotel operations
  • three years of experience as a general manager, executive committee member, or director in a full-service hotel
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to travel 90 percent of the time
  • current resident of Georgia or South Carolina preferred

  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • fluency in a foreign language preferred
  • food safety certification preferred
  • project management skills preferred
  • working knowledge of product replacement cycles, renovations, and physical upgrades preferred
  • problem resolution and consulting skills to mitigate conflicts preferred
  • current resident in the state of Georgia or South Carolina preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform routine quality assurance evaluations
  • address inquiries and communications internally both verbally and in writing
  • monitor expenses incurred from travel based on monthly and yearly goals
  • participate in consistency exercises
  • participate in activities outside of quality assurance to gain knowledge of other departments
  • communicate with quality auditors, area managers, directors, vice presidents, brand teams, design and construction, and human resources to answer inquiries about brand standard compliance, procedures, and improvement plans
  • coordinate upcoming activities such as travel plans and hotel scheduling ensuring downtime work is completed and submitted by established deadlines
