Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or similar education in relevant fields
- At least 8 years of experience managing safety and security for major events
- Strong knowledge of stadium safety and security operations
- Familiarity with FIFA tournaments and private security management preferred
- Understanding of public and private protection procedures
- Experience in intelligence analysis and security protocol conformity
- Demonstrated skills in risk management and crisis response
- Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Experience working in diverse cultural environments
- Proficient in English
- Spanish or French language skills considered beneficial
- Proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in safety, security, policy development, or event management
- Minimum 8 years experience managing safety and security operations for large-scale events
- Knowledge of sports event safety and security planning and best practices
- Understanding of private versus publicly protected persons and relevant procedures
- Experience with intelligence analysis and adapting security protocols
- Expertise in risk management, crisis response, and emergency preparedness
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
- Experience in the sports industry is an advantage
- Fluent in English, with Spanish and/or French considered a plus
- Proficient in MS Office and planning software
Job Duties
- Serve as a point of contact with contracted private agencies providing Team Liaison, Referee Liaison, and Protective Security Officers
- Communicate with Senior Managers to coordinate local and state law enforcement agency support
- Assist in organizing venue walkthroughs for corporate security familiarization
- Coordinate accreditation processes for VIPs and publicly protected individuals
- Manage hired private security details for FIFA executives, teams, and referees
- Liaise with police departments for secure transportation and movement of national teams
- Develop security parameters for private security and liaison officers
- Act as team leader or member in implementing overall security plans for client groups
- Collaborate with venue management and national team representatives on security planning at non-competition venues
- Conduct training and briefing sessions for private security and liaison officers on security protocols and resource stewardship
- Manage and train Protective Security Specialists assigned for tournament duties
- Oversee daily logistics and communication with contracted agencies to ensure continuous security implementation during FIFA World Cup 2026
