Job Requirements

  • 9+ years experience in event production or operations
  • Minimum 5+ years team management experience
  • Experience in live event or theatrical production leadership
  • Strong organizational skills for operational planning
  • Proven vendor negotiation experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-directed and motivated work ethic
  • Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Flexible work availability
  • Ability to travel regionally and internationally

Job Qualifications

  • 9+ years experience with proven event production or operations track record
  • Minimum 5+ years managing high-performing teams of at least 3 members
  • Experience leading live events or film/theatrical productions
  • Expertise in creating and executing high-level operational plans for high-profile events
  • Strong vendor negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead multiple vendor relationships simultaneously
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starting and self-motivated
  • Degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Competency in AutoCAD a plus
  • Ability to work well within teams and understand team dynamics
  • Flexibility to meet business needs

Job Duties

  • Lead and grow an exceptional team of production operations leads and coordinators
  • Drive operational excellence and leadership through key initiatives
  • Lead operational planning and execution
  • Serve onsite as operational leader during load-in, filming, event days, and load-out
  • Manage core team functions including processes, scheduling, and budget
  • Manage day-to-day operational requests and approvals
  • Maintain team planning documentation such as schedules, site maps, and presentations
  • Lead crew operation initiatives including flow planning and database management
  • Manage budget aspects of production operations spending
  • Lead vendor procurement by managing production operations RFPs
  • Oversee vendor relations in operational scopes
  • Collaborate with Worldwide Events and cross-functional partners including marketing, security, finance, and procurement
  • Travel regionally and internationally as needed
