Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in supply chain
- Experience in demand planning, supply planning, business analytics, or supply chain management
- Ability to lead change in a complex global matrix environment
- Strong relationship building and independent working skills
- Analytic skills to interpret data and provide solutions
- Understanding of supply chain trade-offs
- Clear communication skills
- Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems
- Capability in scenario planning
- Experience with sales and operations planning and product launch management
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant supply chain experience
- Degree in business, supply chain, engineering, logistics, or operations preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, business analytics, or supply chain management OR 6 years with a Master’s degree
- MBA degree preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a global matrix environment
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills
- Proficiency in analytic techniques for data interpretation and problem solving
- Understanding of supply chain performance trade-offs
- Strong communication skills at all organizational levels
- In depth knowledge of MRP and conceptual knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, APO, OMP
- Experience with scenario planning
- Experienced in sales and operations planning, new product introduction planning, and control tower processes
Job Duties
- Lead external operations planning activities for a product portfolio to meet service level, global inventory, and agility objectives
- Drive service, inventory, and agility performance across external supply chains with direct accountability for planning and product flow
- Utilize data to drive continuous improvement of supply chain processes
- Develop and execute capacity and supply planning strategies to enhance supply chain performance
- Manage control tower, short term exception management, capacity planning, inventory management, product deployment, planning parameters, new product launch management, and coordination with inspection and distribution centers
- Act as liaison between external manufacturing integrations teams and global planning leads for issue escalation
- Evaluate planning system parameters influencing net requirements planning and inventory targets
- Lead and develop processes to rationalize worldwide demand plans and output production plans optimized for capacity and service targets
