Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- minimum 2 years of relevant payroll or tax experience
- knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance
- experience with payroll software and timekeeping systems
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- minimum of 2 years' experience in related field
- experience with tax agencies setup and amendments, W2 processing, 401K, garnishments, health care deductions and PTO accruals
- proficiency in Workday, OneSource Virtual (OSV)
- hospitality experience preferred
- knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws and federal, state, and local tax laws
- proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- sharp analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and reasons
- effective verbal and written communication skills with adaptability for different audiences
- ability to work well with others and be a team player
- willingness to learn new material
Job Duties
- Collaborate with payroll, HR, finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate payroll tax reporting, payments and allocations
- ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations across all jurisdictions including setup and registration
- ensure payroll taxes and amendments are properly set up and filed on a timely basis
- oversee quarterly and annual payroll tax filings including balancing and reconciliation of returns
- manage payroll tax audits and respond to inquiries from agencies as requested
- monitor legislative changes that impact payroll tax and communicate implications to leadership
- maintain accurate records of payroll tax liabilities, deposits, and adjustments
- perform ad hoc reporting such as 8027 reports and EEOC reports
- assist properties teams with PTO reconciliations and garnishment processing
- ensure weekly/bi-weekly payrolls are processed accurately and timely
- train and assist properties with the payroll process and weekly approvals
- process off cycle checks, reversals and voids
- audit and reconcile payroll data
- perform any other job related duties as assigned
