Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage staff scheduling and operations
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to high standards of guest service and professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and operational reports
  • Proficiency in managing multiple departments and coordinating cross-departmental activities
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and brand service culture

Job Duties

  • Assists in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, Housekeeping
  • Leads and motivates the room operations team to meet productivity and guest tracking goals
  • Creates and nurtures a service-oriented environment emphasizing teamwork, empowerment, and continuous improvement
  • Addresses guest and employee satisfaction concerns proactively and professionally
  • Reviews financial and performance data to maximize departmental financial performance
  • Assists in conducting Quality audits and ensures compliance with key control programs
  • Manages hiring, orientation, and employee performance feedback processes
