Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Minimum 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage teams and operations
- Proficiency in scheduling and staffing management
- Ability to perform job functions hourly as needed
- Commitment to guest satisfaction and quality standards
- Ability to work full time in Irving, Texas
- Willingness to assist in audit and financial management activities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of hotel operations across departments
- Ability to interpret financial statements and performance data
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and guest relations
Job Duties
- Ensure that goals are translated to the team relating to guest tracking and productivity
- Understand and communicate employee and guest satisfaction results and develop game plans
- Assist team in meeting capability expectations
- Lead by example with confidence and enthusiasm
- Assist employees in understanding and exceeding guest needs and expectations
- Follow property specific second effort and recovery plan
- Publish guest satisfaction results timely
- Take proactive approaches to employee and guest concerns
- Communicate and update all goals and results with employees
- Meet semiannually with staff one-to-one
- Assist and teach scheduling against guest and hours/occupied room goals
- Perform hourly job functions as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and be approachable for all guests
- Respond timely to customer service requests
- Ensure team members meet or exceed hospitality requirements
- Assist in annual quality audit with GM and RD
- Ensure a viable key control program
- Understand financial statements and performance data
- Interview and assist in hiring decisions
- Ensure thorough and timely orientation for new team members
