Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 2+ years of airline management experience
- Proven track record of decisive action with strategic planning and continuous improvement
- Ability to lead peers and other leaders focused on Safety, Caring, Dependability, and Efficiency
- Able to manage controlled and uncontrolled environments with informed decisions
- Strong interest in developing training skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail-oriented with multitasking ability
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of interview
- Reliable and punctual attendance
Job Duties
- Preplan prior to shifts and ensure readiness for gates, crews, maintenance, weather, air traffic control, and staffing
- Monitor flight activities within assigned gates including pre-arrival, arrival, ground-servicing, and departure for exceptions and process failures
- Create and adapt hub gating plans to meet operational, customer, and employee needs
- Maintain situational awareness about events impacting gating and parking plans
- Make tactical decisions and escalate significant operational challenges to SOC shift manager
- Provide strategic gate planning communication and operational updates with all departments and service partners
- Liaise with NOC Dispatch and Ops Managers regarding real-time updates and flight-level events
