Job Requirements

  • Three years' experience in a supervisory position
  • Food and beverage experience preferred
  • Minimum age of 21 years to serve alcohol in Alaska
  • Possession or ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to complete Techniques of Alcohol Management course
  • Must pass pre-employment background check
  • Minimum age of 18 years to reside in company housing where available
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Company does not sponsor visas

Job Qualifications

  • Three years' experience in a supervisory position
  • Food and beverage experience preferred
  • Current or ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to obtain Techniques of Alcohol Management course certification
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with company policies, objectives, and government laws and regulations
  • Supervise, train, coach, and support all onboard crewmembers
  • Have an active role in enhancing guests' experience
  • Manage guest services, food and beverage, and mechanical operations while en route
  • Aid in the timeliness of all aspects related to meal services
  • Retrieve locked-back stock retail items for sales made by onboard employees
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment for guests and crewmembers
  • Help maintain policies and procedures including those related to company housing
  • Lead crew by example both on and off the clock
