Job Requirements
- Three years' experience in a supervisory position
- Food and beverage experience preferred
- Minimum age of 21 years to serve alcohol in Alaska
- Possession or ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers Card
- Ability to complete Techniques of Alcohol Management course
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Minimum age of 18 years to reside in company housing where available
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Company does not sponsor visas
Job Qualifications
- Three years' experience in a supervisory position
- Food and beverage experience preferred
- Current or ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handlers Card
- Ability to obtain Techniques of Alcohol Management course certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with company policies, objectives, and government laws and regulations
- Supervise, train, coach, and support all onboard crewmembers
- Have an active role in enhancing guests' experience
- Manage guest services, food and beverage, and mechanical operations while en route
- Aid in the timeliness of all aspects related to meal services
- Retrieve locked-back stock retail items for sales made by onboard employees
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment for guests and crewmembers
- Help maintain policies and procedures including those related to company housing
- Lead crew by example both on and off the clock
