Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Provide shift leadership to a team of 5-6 people while communicating with housekeeping, engineering and other departments to ensure the shift runs efficiently
  • Use the appropriate resources to collaborate and solve issues during the shift and communicate how future shifts may be affected
  • Prioritize and coordinate tasks to maintain smooth daily hotel operations including Front Desk, Porters, Housekeeping, Engineering and Event Assistance
  • Learn and use phone, computer programs and other hotel systems to aid guest services
  • Coach colleagues to increase levels of guest delight following the hotel mission
  • Take responsibility for recruiting, hiring, and developing new staff members
  • Advocate for guests and staff members
  • Establish and maintain hotel and guest relationships by identifying guest needs and communicating them to appropriate departments
  • Maintain a passion for safety and ensure cleanliness and sanitary workplaces at all times
