Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience in catering or social events
  • Prior experience in a luxury resort setting
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of event planning and management
  • Proficiency in relevant software
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years experience in Catering, Convention, and/or Weddings
  • Experience in a luxury resort setting
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in event management and hospitality software
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
  • Proven sales and negotiation experience

Job Duties

  • Assist Director in overseeing daily Wedding Chapel operations and personnel
  • Manage social catering event operations including planning and forecasting
  • Develop sales objectives, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate with departments such as Catering, Food & Beverage, and Marketing
  • Evaluate and monitor vendor contracts and performance
  • Manage recruitment, training, and discipline of Wedding Chapel staff
  • Research new services, products, technologies, and trends
  • Act as direct catering contact for high-profile social groups and clients
  • Develop monthly and yearly reports
  • Ensure adherence to guest service and brand standards
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting
  • Implement Catering departmental policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
