Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate required
  • associate degree in related field preferred
  • must obtain and maintain non-gaming license at key employee level
  • Food Handler's Certificate required
  • Responsible Beverage Service certification required
  • minimum 5 years of food and beverage experience
  • 2 to 3 years of management or leadership experience
  • flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • must have or be able to obtain a non-gaming license at key employee level
  • Food Handler's Certificate required
  • Responsible Beverage Service certification through state of California

Job Duties

  • Oversee front-of-house operations during assigned shifts
  • manage scheduling and labor hours to meet business and guest service needs
  • hire, staff, and make termination decisions for the venue
  • address team member performance and behavior issues with assistant managers
  • ensure new team members are effectively trained and supported
  • coordinate activities between floor and kitchen staff through effective communication
  • manage and reconcile Point of Sale systems and revenue
  • make timely decisions and resolve problems independently
  • establish and refine operational processes to maximize efficiency
  • support marketing promotions and events
  • communicate guest and mystery shop feedback and resolve issues
  • manage budget responsibilities for assigned venue
  • attend all required trainings and meetings
  • complete accurate and timely documentation
  • recommend policy changes and establish procedures
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • maintain a neat, safe, and comfortable work environment
  • oversee proper handling and maintenance of service equipment
  • manage cash register closeouts and backup procedures
  • secure funds and manage casino vault transactions
  • deliver exceptional guest service consistent with company standards
  • stay up to date with industry business strategies and competition
  • promote current promotions and events
