Job Requirements
- Associate of Science degree in a technical field
- Texas State Journeyman's Electrical or Plumbing License
- Five years experience in engineering management or healthcare department management preferred
- Ability to establish and update engineering policies
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- AS degree in a technical field
- BS degree in management, business or an engineering field preferred but not required
- Texas State Journeyman's Electrical or Plumbing License required for candidates with an Associate of Science
- Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager preferred
- Five years experience in engineering management or healthcare department management preferred
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, manage and control operations of the Engineering Department
- Manage the facility preventive maintenance program
- Oversee the facilities electrical safety program
- Establish and update engineering policies and procedures
- Supervise building infrastructure systems maintenance
- Coordinate plant equipment operations and repair requests
- Ensure quality assurance in facilities management
