Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- four to six years of event management experience
- intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- intermediate experience with Cvent registration and event management software strongly preferred
- excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- exceptional organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple events simultaneously
- standard office conditions while in office
- ability to perform light lifting and stand for extended periods at events
- availability to work nights and weekends
- willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

Job Duties
- build and maintain relationships with the Director of Events, key stakeholders including sponsors, partners, and senior leadership
- support and execute comprehensive global event strategies both in-person and virtual for the organization
- lead and mentor a team of event professionals through goal setting, continuous feedback, coaching, and development
- foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
- proactively manage performance issues
- manage the daily operations of the events team including clear communication of objectives and event staffing
- define business objectives and budget for each event ensuring accurate and timely communication of expenses
- oversee all event project management
- collaborate and support budgeting and implementation of budgets
- manage overall event budget ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with experience and financial goals
- effectively manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations
- stay up to date with a working knowledge of Starkey products, services, and competitor products
- perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
