Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-3 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in the facility industry
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • superior communication and organizational skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • experience within facility coordination desirable
  • ability to make immediate decisions in emergency situations

Job Duties

  • serve as the client’s main point of contact for all assigned facility events
  • collaborate with client regarding all event needs and requests including food and beverage, designated spaces, vendor services, and billing processes
  • develop and distribute internal documents such as staffing, cost estimates, event work orders, and post event reports
  • develop meeting agendas for clients or vendors
  • research, review, and recommend equipment, materials, and supplies required for event services
  • coordinate outside service needs with food and beverage contractors, decorators, or other vendors
  • coordinate with marketing department regarding front of house marketing and social media initiatives
  • coordinate and participate in inspections to ensure facility readiness and compliance
  • supervise all staffing for assigned events
  • assist with special front-of-house arrangements
  • make immediate decisions during emergencies
  • prepare reports and correspondence related to post event discussions
  • develop institutional knowledge of facility and ASM policies
  • serve as primary facilitator for external communications including inquiries, emails, and phone calls
  • assist with monitoring Shrine on Airline social media accounts
  • organize and maintain facility photography database
  • follow all training, policy, and procedure requirements
  • assist in preparation of departmental budget and estimated revenues
  • maintain proper image and generate positive public relations
  • manage and complete event or facility-related projects
  • perform all other duties as assigned
