Job Duties
- Lead the overall strategy and standards for philanthropic event engagement supporting fundraising priorities
- oversee all aspects of event planning including vendor negotiations, logistics, site selection, and staffing
- collaborate with executive leadership, faculty, major gift officers, and other teams to align events with institutional goals
- develop best practices for corporate sponsorships and deliver sponsorship benefits
- manage event budgets and financial reporting
- create success metrics to optimize donor engagement
- produce event collateral and communications
- manage and direct event team staff
- develop and monitor event timelines and project plans
- identify and manage vendor portfolios ensuring diversity procurement
- establish and maintain relationships with venues and contractors
- handle event logistics including venue reservations, food and beverage, and audiovisual requirements
- travel to regional event locations as needed
