Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering management
- Experience in food manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency with maintenance practices and equipment management
- Knowledge of health, safety, and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-noise, cold-temperature environments
- Capability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams
- Commitment to upholding hygiene standards and safety culture
- Ability to manage budgets and projects effectively
- Willingness to engage in continuous improvement and training
- Availability to participate in daily site walks and other on-floor activities
- Understanding of KPI tracking and reporting

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- Extensive experience in site engineering management preferably in food production
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and execution
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement

- Budget management skills
- Proficiency in health and safety compliance

Job Duties
- Ensure smooth running of the factory machinery
- Keep informed and updated of production plan changes to enable team’s daily work and equipment readiness
- Drive team to proactively identify and solve issues
- Maintain awareness of all machinery problems or unfinished jobs
- Keep and manage a full library of machine manuals and support resources
- Ensure engineering team attendance at breakdowns promptly
- Implement effective hand-over procedures and accountability within the team
- Create a “one person for one job” policy ensuring safety
- Maintain discipline, organization, and cleanliness in workplace, workshop, and stores
- Drive production process to meet customer specifications, quality, and food safety
- Manage equipment and engineering resources to meet production targets
- Provide visible daily presence on production floor for coaching and issue control
- Communicate effectively with the team beyond just emails
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure training
- Identify and implement areas of improvement and quality enhancements
- Ensure health and safety requirements and positive safety culture
- Perform daily site walks for clean and tidy environment
- Act as focal point for the team
- Represent Froneri Way operating model and core values
- Utilize group resources for knowledge sharing
- Brief and de-brief team daily
- Manage engineering stock and maintain controlled inventory
- Conduct risk assessments of critical spares
- Monitor stock usage and order daily
- Collaborate with other sites to optimize stores stock
- Prevent redundant stock buildup
- Ensure maintenance plan evolves to maximize production time and reduce unnecessary work
- Drive maintenance tasks based on observations and data
- Evaluate cost, availability, and requirements for repair or replacement
- Align maintenance schedule with production needs
- Ensure maintenance complies with food safety policies
- Keep all equipment records up to date
- Evaluate projects against cost, time, and quality
- Complete detailed supplier specifications and manage project timelines and budgets
- Treat all departmental spending responsibly
- Manage costs daily and ensure site costs remain within budget
- Maintain measurable outcomes including downtime, planned versus reactive maintenance balance, zero product rejections linked to machinery, waste reduction, meeting production targets, cost control, team performance reviews, training, quality initiatives, accident reduction, improving KPIs, projects delivery, and benchmarking actions.
