Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, event planning, communications or related field or equivalent experience
- Five years of experience in project, time and budget management
- Two years knowledge of financial analysis, business planning, marketing planning and execution within a big-box format
- Two years corporate or retail environment experience
- Willingness to travel up to 10-15% annually
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Proficiency with event management software and virtual event platforms

Job Duties
- Builds the annual event strategy to achieve fundraising goals
- Designs experiences for meaningful relationship building with vendors and business partners
- Manages event budgets and forecasts to ensure expenses remain at target
- Leads cross-functional teams for event planning and large-scale community projects
- Oversees attendee management, including registration and event communications
- Manages vendor RFPs, negotiations, and contracting for venues and services
- Develops complex logistics plans for successful attendee experiences
- Conducts pre and post event surveys and measures program effectiveness
- Manages large-scale event production including virtual platforms and onsite execution
- Oversees performance of agency and vendor teams supporting events
- Ensures contracts and statements of work comply with company risk and compliance standards
- Coordinates across internal stakeholders and executive leadership to ensure success
