Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous retail and food service experience
  • at least 6 months experience in a leadership role within a convenience store or food service setting
  • ability to work flexible hours between 5 am and 4 pm
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb
  • capacity to lift and move items over 40 pounds with assistance
  • effective communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • commitment to food safety and operational standards
  • willingness to travel up to 25 percent
  • ability to complete all physical demands of the job with or without accommodation

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner and coach team members accordingly
  • maintain a clean restaurant environment by performing cleaning and general housekeeping duties
  • assign shift duties to team members and ensure their completion
  • direct team to ensure all food items are prepared and served according to brand, company, and health department regulations
  • coach team members on food preparation guidelines and production management
  • ensure product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met
  • manage food costs and waste in line with company goals
  • monitor and ensure accuracy of cash, sales, and inventory control records during shifts
  • complete end of shift and end of day paperwork and counts
  • communicate discrepancies to store leader
  • guarantee a safe environment by following government laws and safety codes
  • maintain neat and clean appearance in store, kitchen, and dining areas
  • ensure cooler, store shelves, and displays are stocked and fronted
  • notify store leader of maintenance issues
