Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of operational management experience
  • 3-5 years of aviation-related scheduling operations experience
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of aviation-related Scheduling Operations experience
  • Ability to create and execute strategies
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Successful completion of interview
  • Reliable, punctual attendance
  • Crew scheduling and supervisory experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • Presentation skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Direct the activity of flight attendant scheduling at the system Operations Control Center in Arlington Heights, IL
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the Inflight Crew Scheduling functions
  • Responsible for the planning and control of all crew scheduling functions in a 24/7, 365-day-a-year operation
  • Coordinate and communicate with other operating groups within the NOC
  • Ensure contractual interpretations and scheduling practices are administered consistently and cost effectively
  • Administer policies, systems, cost management, staffing and business procedures consistent with company and government regulations and flight attendant union agreements
  • Monitor performance against forecast and initiate action to control adverse trends
  • Function as a liaison with bases and other departments with the NOC, fostering open communication and modeling teamwork through cross-functional working relationships
  • Maintain productive relationships with flight attendant union representatives, gaining clarity on agreements to provide long term solutions to problems
  • Lead a team of scheduling shift supervisors, senior schedulers and schedulers
  • Develop employees and encourage positive employee engagement
