Job Requirements

- completion of management certification

Job Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
- experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
- completion of a high school education or equivalent
- completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
- strong organizational skills
- professional written and verbal communication skills
- ability to create a fun and exciting environment
- proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of basic mathematical computations
- knowledge of restaurant operations and cost control
- ability to lead and develop team members
Job Duties
- staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training and ongoing development of department team members
- maintaining the department at training store certification
- developing direct reports by creating action and development plans
- coordinating with other department managers on hiring decisions
- creating weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines
- developing and implementing incentive programs and contests
- providing regular performance feedback and administering merit increase processes
- assisting general manager with coaching managers
- ensuring execution of service standards and guest experience
- holding timely departmental meetings
- ensuring all department team members have current state required training and permits
- identifying techniques to attract new guests
- managing guest comment program and food quality guest complaints
- utilizing guest experience management program for feedback
- facilitating adherence to food and bar product rollouts
- ensuring team members meet quality and recipe adherence standards
- communicating with vendors and holding them accountable
- ensuring use of menu specs and systems
- analyzing restaurant performance tools and creating action plans
- conducting administrative functions
- monitoring department equipment and reporting repair needs
- operating in compliance with health and safety practices
- managing food and labor costs within company standards
- ordering and maintaining inventory levels of products
- establishing sales projections and understanding P&L statements
- managing bar costs and waste
- implementing sales building incentive contests
- assisting with local restaurant marketing
- completing assigned duties and tasks
