Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • Satisfactory background check

  • Completion of restaurant management certification

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • Experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Skilled with basic mathematical computations
  • Proven track record managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities

Job Duties

  • Staffing planning including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, and development of department team members
  • Maintaining department training and certification standards
  • Developing action plans for direct reports' growth
  • Coordinating hiring decisions with other department managers
  • Creating weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines
  • Developing and implementing incentive programs and contests
  • Providing regular performance feedback and administering merit increase process
  • Assisting the General Manager with coaching management staff
  • Utilizing support teams and subject matter experts as needed
  • Conducting departmental meetings to communicate procedures and successes
  • Ensuring compliance with state training and permits
  • Managing guest comment programs and handling food quality complaints
  • Facilitating new product rollouts and ensuring adherence to quality and recipe standards
  • Communicating with vendors and maintaining inventory control
  • Analyzing restaurant performance data and implementing corrective action plans
  • Conducting administrative manager functions such as invoice entry and inventory management
  • Monitoring and maintaining department equipment
  • Operating in compliance with health and safety standards
  • Managing food, bar, and hospitality department costs and labor within budgets
  • Implementing sales-building contests and marketing programs
  • Resolving issues related to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
