Job Requirements
- Highly motivated self-directed results driven with strong organizational skills attention to detail and professional communication skills
- Ability and desire to create a fun exciting environment for guests and team members
- Skilled with basic mathematical computations
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment
- Maintain confidential information and adhere to company policies
- Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
- Experience managing a restaurant with full bar preferred
- Completion of high school or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license to travel between units
- Satisfactory background check
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
- Willingness to work irregular hours nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to be on-call 24 hours and work 50 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
- Experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
- Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create a positive and fun work environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service
- Understanding of P&L statements and restaurant performance metrics
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Experience with inventory and vendor management
Job Duties
- Directly responsible for staffing succession planning recruiting interviewing hiring orientation training and ongoing development of department team members
- Maintains department at training store certification and provides WCT training
- Develops direct reports with action and development plans
- Coordinates with other managers on hiring decisions
- Creates weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines
- Develops and implements incentive programs and contests for department
- Provides regular performance feedback and administers merit increases
- Assists General Manager with coaching and performance management of managers
- Ensures execution of service standards and guest experience
- Communicates effectively with department team via meetings
- Ensures all team members complete state required training and permits
- Handles guest comment program ensuring food quality complaints are addressed
- Facilitates adherence to food product rollouts
- Ensures team adherence to product quality recipe and portioning standards
- Communicates with vendors holding them accountable for quality and delivery
- Teaches and coaches managers and team on quality service and cleanliness
- Analyzes restaurant performance tools and implements action plans
- Conducts administrative functions like entering invoices and inventory
- Monitors and reports equipment repair needs
- Ensures compliance with Board of Health and food safety practices
- Manages bar product ordering and promotion rollouts
- Analyzes sales and profit goals troubleshooting problems
- Manages alcohol cost and bar labor results
- Implements bar sales incentive contests
- Assists General Manager with marketing program and sales incentives
- Completes all assigned duties and tasks
