Job Requirements

  • Relevant retail or supply chain management experience
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 9 hours per day
  • Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
  • Regular use of hands for grasping and fine manipulations
  • Ability to bend, squat, crawl, climb, and reach regularly
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights up to 50 lbs
  • No degree required but relevant skills and alignment with core values essential

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail or supply chain management overseeing site operations and sales
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM systems and project management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs
  • Skill in addressing difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
  • Service leadership approach and desire to exceed expectations

Job Duties

  • Support the management of a 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse/retail operation in business-to-business sales environment and lead operations in absence of the Branch Manager
  • Maintain a detailed and comprehensive understanding of the location’s daily functions and operational needs
  • Manage customer sales issues and assist Branch Manager with scheduling needs
  • Develop and train 15-25 team members to ensure consistent processes and procedures while role modeling company values
  • Utilize DISC profiling to build a cohesive and high-performing team
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and ensure products comply with regulatory and quality standards
  • Support department managers with daily operations including inventory, merchandising, and sales
  • Manage escalated customer and employee complaints, incident reports, and legal actions
  • Support Membership and Gold Membership growth
  • Promote growth and utilization of TRS.com across customers
  • Manage safety and maintenance needs of the building and equipment
