Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • strong organizational skills
  • professional written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of basic mathematical computations
  • completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • satisfactory background check

Job Duties

  • Manage staffing, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and ongoing development of department team members
  • maintain department training and certification standards
  • create action plans for team member development
  • coordinate hiring decisions with other managers
  • create department schedules within labor guidelines
  • develop and implement incentive programs
  • provide regular performance feedback and appraisals
  • administer merit increase process
  • assist General Manager with coaching managers
  • utilize support and subject matter experts
  • coach team members on service standards and guest experience
  • hold regular departmental meetings
  • ensure team members have required state training and permits
  • identify techniques to attract new guests
  • manage Guest Comment program and handle food quality complaints
  • use Guest Experience Management program for feedback
  • ensure adherence to food product rollouts and quality standards
  • communicate with food vendors
  • utilize menu specs and systems
  • analyze restaurant performance tools and troubleshoot issues
  • conduct administrative tasks such as entering invoices and inventory
  • monitor equipment and report repairs
  • comply with health and food safety standards
  • address BOH and Steritech issues
  • manage bar product rollouts and vendor relations
  • monitor bar equipment
  • manage food cost and labor results within targets
  • order food and paper products
  • maintain inventory accuracy
  • project sales and expenses
  • understand P&L and create action plans
  • monitor bar cost tools and beverage inventory
  • manage waste and discounts
  • develop bar sales incentives
  • support local marketing programs and sales contests
  • complete all other assigned tasks
