Job Requirements
- ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours each week including opening, busy day parts, and closing shifts
- knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards
- knowledge of procedures and protocols to comply with HACCP standards
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years food and beverage experience
- minimum of 2 years cash handling experience
- minimum of 2 years customer service experience
- minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen
- ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- comfort conversing with customers
- knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards
- knowledge of HACCP standards
- understanding of health and safety procedures
Job Duties
- complete opening, daily, and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
- assist AGM/GM in supervising day-to-day activities of associates within assigned restaurants or points-of-sale
- participate in the interview process, provide input in hiring, recommend termination, advancement, promotion, or status changes to GM
- assign work tasks and activities, prepare schedules, and ensure all shifts are adequately covered
- ensure all associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
- maintain clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas
- ensure all equipment is in good working order
- operate cash register and void transactions while following cash handling policies and maintain cash security
- monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures, report safety concerns to GM
- perform all health and safety activities as specified in the Manager’s Guide to Associate Health and Safety
- place orders, receive goods, process invoices
- maintain current contact information for all associates working in the restaurant
