Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a finance or business role with demonstrated career advancement
  • Experience communicating and working with senior management
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products
  • Ability to lead and develop a small team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience or willingness to learn financial systems such as Hyperion/Oracle
  • Willingness to participate in company diversity and inclusion initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a finance or business role with demonstrated career advancement

  • Strong analytical background with ability to draw insights from analysis and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products
  • Hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Strong financial systems experience including Hyperion/Oracle products preferred
  • Experience with BI tools, Copilot/ChatGPT, and Alteryx preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead in the development and preparation of key executive-level materials including Quarterly Business Reviews, Board Presentations, Senior Leadership Team Presentations, Executive Committee Presentations, and Q&A materials for Quarterly Earnings calls
  • Analyze business trends, providing insight into key performance indicators to the CFO
  • Track and manage various incentive compensation metrics including the Global Priorities Scorecard for hotel-level incentive compensation plans
  • Help maintain accurate and timely reporting on the Planning and Analysis Website and contribute to the development of new reporting for hotel users and corporate users
  • Oversee the HTLRPT Hyperion application including integration of new growth platforms for systematic reporting
  • Partner closely with the Data and Analytics team to drive reporting enhancements and rollout new analytical tools across the organization
  • Oversee and develop PowerBI dashboards to aid in analyzing financial results
  • Perform other ad hoc analysis as required
  • Directly oversee and coach two high-performing senior analysts to ensure they are gaining necessary experiences to further their individual career development
  • Participate in Hyatt’s Diversity and Inclusion activities
