Job Requirements
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Two years of experience in employee management within a hotel environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and mentor a team
- Working knowledge of hotel management systems
- Ability to utilize guest satisfaction performance metrics
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage labor and financial performance
- Commitment to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Two years of experience in managing employees in a hotel environment
- Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred
- Knowledge of AAA or Forbes standards preferred
- Technical expertise with LMS and HotSOS or similar service optimization systems preferred
- Experience in a resort setting preferred
- Ability to communicate in Spanish or Asian languages preferred
- Working knowledge of hotel management systems
- Ability to utilize guest satisfaction performance metrics
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Effective organizational and judgment abilities
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide direction and leadership to the Front Desk and Concierge teams
- Assist the Director of Hotel Operations in achieving operational and financial goals
- Lead the implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, and schedules for front desk and concierge staff
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and exceptional guest experiences
- Engage employees through coaching, training, rewards, and development initiatives
- Participate in recruitment, training, supervision, counseling, and coaching of front desk staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
