Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health preferred
  • Certification in health, safety, and environment for designated country
  • Experience in health and safety roles in warehouse or manufacturing
  • Knowledge of country-specific health and safety standards including OSHA, ISO, DOT, and EPA
  • OSHA 10 hour or basic plant safety knowledge
  • Current first aid/CPR first responder training desired
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel 50-75% and manage multiple facilities
  • Flexibility for on-call and off-shift hours

  • Flexibility for on-call and off-shift work hours

Job Duties

  • Identify, develop, and maintain company health and safety management systems, training programs, and procedures in line with legislation
  • Perform monthly safety inspections and maintenance
  • Represent the company at external audits and ensure compliance
  • Design, revise, and implement health and safety procedures and updates
  • Coordinate risk assessment activities and analyze data to develop safety strategies
  • Investigate accidents, compile documentation, and liaise with relevant parties
  • Deliver and administer safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors
  • Participate in internal and external safety meetings, present data, and monitor actions
  • Collaborate with operational teams to improve workplace safety and recommend safety features
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage documentation related to material handling equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
